Our location allows us to pick the best wood grades from sawmills within 100 miles. Dense square edge material is not abundant, we draw from multiple mills. Mills producing 30,000 bd ft a day only develop 4-6000 bd ft A MONTH of the quality we demand. There are times when we cannot get enough material....we urge you to think ahead to avoid having to buy an inferior floor -at a higher price elsewhere..

All modern sawmills surface the wood after kiln drying to proper moisture content. The equipment tears out small fibers/fibers running in other direction, you must fill these low spots, and then sand level, in our process..

 We 1st sort the wood, fill defects as required, sand, and only then are ready to begin machining the floor...most mills do none of these steps..

By eliminating these steps they save money, yes, but you get a floor that has defects, and a surface that shows machining, or chatter marks.

This same attention to detail shows in the number of inspections in the finished product. So a $2.99 floor or a $6.99 floor has a lot of difference, but each of our price points provides the most floor for your dollar.

Our engineered flooring has the thickest wear layer in the industry-thats the life of the floor. We make engineered in all species and have shipped repeat floors to Bermuda and across the USA as far as Alaska. For direct concrete glue down, or radiant heat, engineered is code approved. We will be happy to work with you on your project, from custom widths, lengths, to oil or hard non toxic finishes, in any stable species.

WE also supply stair treads to match. Lumber blanks for matching millwork are available in your sizes.

We do not spend your flooring dollar on expensive advertising, so we are not well known, but our repeat builder trade knows a great deal when they see it!
