Knotty, sap streaks, very limited steamed sapwood. All filled, beautiful character walnut floor. Thick wear layer engineered, at least 4-5 mil wear surface. Competition is 1 to 3.2mils. You are buying wear surface, the thicker the better. Our core is hardwood with a balancing back layer, same as most expensive european floors.

Finish is either hard oil or catalyzed urethane, your choice. Both Non toxic. All 25-500 year aluminum oxide "non scratch" flooring is finished with toxic coatings. when you sand in 3-5 years because of all the scratches (not covered in the 500 year warranty) the dust is central nervous system TOXIC.
